A sponge cake that is very easy to make thanks to our Küken robot.
In addition, carrots not only provide us with a natural sweet taste, but we can also benefit from their excellent nutritional properties.
That's why carrot cake is perfect for breakfast or a snack and a healthy and wholesome option, where you can get the little ones to eat and appreciate the taste of vegetables.
CARROT CAKE

250 g carrots | Spatula |
250 g pastry flour | |

120 ml sunflower oil | |
1 sachet of baking powder | |

If we want our sponge cake to be suitable for vegans, we can replace the eggs with 200 ml of vegetable drink, e.g. soy or oat drink.
In addition to the butter used to grease the mould, we should use a vegetable-based butter.
ELABORATION
- First of all, preheat the oven to 180ºC.
- We mount the blade accessory on our Küken robot.
- Add 250 g of peeled and thickly sliced carrots.
Chop for 15 seconds on speed 5.
- Remove the lid and with the help of the spatula, push the remains that may have been left on the wall of the glass to the bottom.
Chop for 15 seconds on speed 5.
- Set aside the chopped carrot in a bowl.
- Add 150 g sugar, four eggs and a pinch of salt.
Beat for 2 minutes at 37ºC and speed 3.
- Add 120 ml sunflower oil.
Beat for 10 seconds on speed 5.
- Add 250 g of flour, the sachet of baking powder and the chopped carrot.
Beat for 30 seconds on speed 3.
- Pour the contents into a baking dish, previously greased with butter.
- Bake for approximately 35 minutes.
